SZA: R & B’s Super Scorpio Sweetheart

SZA is one of the hottest R & B singers out right now. Though she’s been around for years and is considered the first lady of Top Dawg Entertainment (the record label who includes rapper Kendrick Lamar on it’s roster). She popped off with her new album, CTRL and her song Drew Barrymore.

SZA was raised in a half Christian half Muslim household (her mom’s Christian and her dad’s Muslim). She wore a hijab for some parts of her life and her stage name is from Islam’s Supreme Alphabet (like Wu Tang Clan’s rapper, RZA).

Sun, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, Lilith all conjunct in Scorpio

SZA has Sun, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, and Lilith all conjunct in Scorpio. FYI Lilith is retrograde. She is SUPER SCORPIO PLUTONIAN AND INTENSE. It’s interesting and so astro-synchronicity Scorpio that she named her album, CTRL. CTRL is the standard computer keyboard key function for control). She strives for control but knows it’s an illusion (don’t we all). She’s very self-aware and reflective in her lyrics. Just listen to Drew Barrymore and the Weekend. In the Weekend is singing about sharing a man with a woman (she’s the side chick). That’s some interesting, semi fucked up situation and feelings being expressed.

Moon & Jupiter conjunct in Leo

For someone with such heavy Scorpio in her chart, she doesn’t really come off that way. She has a strange, vulnerability, child-like innocence, and softness about her that Scorpio naturally doesn’t have.

I think this is because she has Moon conjunct Jupiter in Leo. She’s too expressive, goofy, and happy (on the surface of course) for her STRONG ASS SCORPIO ENERGY. She may be INTENSE, PASSIONATE, A LITTE BAT SHIT CRAZY IN HER INNERWORLD (AND I KNOW SHE IS). But on surface for the publics.

Leo moons wants everyone to love them, kind, generous, a little attention seeking, but have good hearts. Especially with Jupiter conjunct her Moon, she’s probably annoyingly optimistic and attention seeking.

Mars in Gemini Retrograde

This also explains why she doesn’t act very Scorpio. I watched several interviews and watched that mini documentary on her on YouTube. She’s very expressive and open and kinda self-snitched/made herself look bad/petty (admitting in an Breakfast Club interview that she cheated/messed with one of exes’ homeboys as revenge). She’s awkward and adorable. Mars in Gemini is probably a little crazy and petty with a wild/disrespectful mouth. Having Gemini in one’s chart is a blessing and a curse.

When you have Gemini in your chart, you are a wordsmith and encompassed all the intricacies of human emotions. Now add Scorpio in there with the Gemini and you are an intuitive emotive wordsmith that feels, the feels for real real.

Saturn, Uranus, Neptune in Capricorn

SZA has Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in Capricorn. This can explain her want to wanting to control things. Especially the Uranus and Neptune part, it’s a generational planet FYI a lot of people in the Pluto in Scorpio Generation has Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn.

SZA rebelliously (Uranus), spiritually & creatively (Neptune) wants to control things. This isn’t a bad or negative thing. Especially with her Saturn in Capricorn she has the discipline and resolve to actually make these things happen.

One thing to note SZA recently celebrated her 27^th birthday so she is entering her Saturn Return. This year will be painful, revealing, fulfilling but ultimately fruitful in the long run.

UPDATE: Apparently SZA revealed a couple of years back that she's a Scorpio with a Pisces Moon. Astrotheme apparently changed her moon sign since the last time I wrote this on November 16th. 

It makes sense, I can definitely see Pisces moon, she seems a bit more open, vulnerable, and messier than a Super Scorpio. I am still undecided and skeptical one because in show biz people oftentimes lie about their age **cough cough Mariah cough***). Second because there is conflicting information as you can see by the research/evidence I've included below.

Cardi B: Jupiter Return & Winning

Rapper Cardi B is rocking her Jupiter return with abundance, luck, and success. She recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 with her “Bodak Yellow” song. Cardi B made history becoming the 2^nd female rapper (after Lauryn Hill) in 19 years to top the charts without a feature. She beat out Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj for the top spot. A remarkable feat for a newcomer with less than 4 years in the game.

Cardi B born October 11^th 1992, in NYC. She’s from the Bronx, NY (the birth place of Hip Hop) and is of Trinidadian and Dominican heritage. Cardi B started out making Instagram videos, while working as a stripper. As her Instagram followers grew and she became insta famous. Using her social media currency to be on reality TV show, Love and Hip Hop New York, where she quickly became the breakout star. She transitioned this stardom into a rap career hence, Forever,  Fleek, and now Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).

Jupiter in Libra

She’s 24 well now 25 today’s her birthday. Side note I written this a couple of weeks ago but didn’t post this until now. #nointernetisabitch. As you know 24 is the age of your Jupiter Return. This is when Jupiter returns back to the same sign you were born with. This is a time where you have blessings, opportunities, and success (financial, relationship, etc.).

This is her year and she is winning. Abundance. Optimism. Opportunities for growth and self discovery. Aka God helps people who helps themselves. FYI Cardi B is on the top of the charts for three weeks running, beating out Lauryn Hill’s 1998 hit Doo Wop (That Thing).

Full Moon Baby

Cardi B has a Libra Sun, Aries Moon so she’s a Full Moon baby. Her Sun opposites the moon, which is a bit of bipolar and extreme position. On one hand she tries to be fair, pleasant, and kind but on the other hand she’s quick to react, pop off, and can be extremely aggressive. Cardinal oppositions are the self-starters, they start shit and love to stir the pot. Then they forget that the pot is on the stove and nearly burn down the house because they left the pot on the stove for too long. Luckily they realize they were hungry and got to the pot before the pot got to them in the nether world. Run on sentence aside, this is pretty much describes Cardi B’s opposition.

Libra Suns like fitting in, being socially acceptable, and socially graceful. Libras like to entertain, make everyone laugh and feel good. While Aries moon don’t give a shit about fitting in and being socially accepted or graceful. Aries moons don’t sacrifice themselves for others and don’t like to compromise. Aries Moons are risk takers and they don’t mind putting everything on the line. BTW Hip Hop, R & B, and Pop world: Remy Ma, Tupac, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, etc. all have Aries moons.

Mercury and Venus in Scorpio

Finding out Cardi B has Mercury and Venus in Scorpio was not a shock at all. Stripper past, domestic violence relationship, gang affiliated (Brim sect of Bloods gang), a former boo in Jail, and growing up in the tough streets of the Bronx.

It makes sense Mercury in Scorpio, Cardi B doesn’t mince words. To some she can be seen as real, candid, and honest. To others she can be seen as vulgar, ratchet, ghetto. I see both.

Sidenote: I know someone with an Aries moon, Venus in Scorpio and they are ATTRACTED  to fun, crazy people and situations. THEY GO HARD.

Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. Attracts powerful, oftentimes dark people and situations. I do sense darkness in her and hidden agendas and shit. #vampires, #notthatinnocent #illuminati. :D

Mars in Cancer

I’m half psychic but I knew she had a Cancer placement somewhere, to be honest I originally thought she had a Cancer moon, (Aries moon however makes more sense). Anyway Cardi B has Mars in cancer which means she is VERY emotional, so reacts first and doesn’t think later. Overall she has Good instincts and her Mercury trining Mars supports this. I feel Cardi tries to control her words but she can’t help it. Regardless her words give her strength most of the time; but also be a hindrance and a double edged sword. I know Cardi wants to be seen as the strong silent type (and a part of her is) but she is also really really sensitive.

Mars in cancer somehow softens Cardi B up, makes her more vulnerable, but not in a victimy woe is me way like Pisces or a manipulative, you hurt me I kill you and your family way like a Scorpio. Mix mars and moon Cardi B comes across as strong, independent, and sincere; while also being loveable, huggable, let’s clean her up and get her a dictionary vibes. #noshadethough. When shit pops off I would mostly blame Cardi B’s moon and Mars (which naturally squares each other). 

Grand Cross

Cardi B has a grand cross. Mars in Cancer, Moon in Aries, Neptune/Uranus conjunct in Capricorn, and Sun in Libra. A grand cross is two pairs of oppositions. Her chart has so much potential but also a lot of difficulty.

This is already too long for me, but astrology aside I like Cardi B and her imperfect ratchetness. Whatever the case, let’s see what she does next. Happy Birthday to Her!!!
