My 5 Astrology Pet Peeves

1. Astrology Skeptics

Astrology Skeptics are annoying. Most of them don’t know shit about astrology but love to put down astrology. Challenge for all astrology skeptics. I dare you to do your own natal chart. Not only do it but take 2 days to do research. I don't understand how we humans on Earth can get energy from a Star (the sun), have the moon effect our oceans all the way in outer space but its so far fetch that the other planets and celestial bodies can have an effect on us.

2. People who only know Sun Signs

Stop saying you love astrology when you only know or are interested in sun signs. You love sun sign astrology or horoscope astrology. It's annoying to talk to someone who “loves astrology” but can only talk sun signs. That is pretty much small talk.

3. People who make up things about astrology to fit their narrative.

Yes astrology is open to interpretation and very much is other people's opinion, perspective and the interpretation of the knowledge/ learning/studying and experience and astrology. 

But you cant just make up shit.

I have seen people say that Aquarius is a water sign because they are the water bearer. How Libra is not a masculine sign. How they are unsure of their sun sign and prefer to be both signs because they are born on a "cusp". No offense but these people sound stupid.

4. False equivalency

Sun in the 8th House or Sun conjunct Pluto does not make you a Scorpio. Moon in the 8^th House or Moon conjunct Pluto is not the same as Scorpio moon. Pluto in the 1st house doesn't make you a Scorpio rising.

Yes there are similarities with all these placements but slow your roll. It’s annoying when people try to claim placements that are not theirs to claim. I honestly see this mostly with discussion around people with Plutonian and Scorpionic energy. People treat it like a pissing contest.

5. The rife between old school and new school astrology. Experience Vs. Casual Astrology Lovers.

New school astrology is focused on psychology and personality with elements of prediction and spirituality Old school astrology is focused on prediction and tradition. An analogy would be astrologist vs astrologer

Criticism is that old school astrology tends to be more fatalistic and new school tends to be more fluffy. Regardless i notice this with rife between younger or more casual astrology lovers and older or more experienced and learned professional astrologers. Its not that serious. We can all exist.
