The Astrology of Pisces in Black Liberation

The Astrology of Pisces in Black Liberation

It’s Pisces Season I thought I will continue my Astrology of Black Liberation series in it’s natural order, in the current zodiac season that we are in. This being Pisces season, happy Pisces season and happy birthday to all the Pisces!!!!

One of the themes for Pisces energy in Black Liberation is love and humanity, specifically agape love for humanity. It’s breaking boundaries and barriers, giving up power, self-sacrifice, and martyrdom. It’s illusion, disillusion, the irrational, etc. Pisces ruled by it’s modern ruler Neptune and traditional ruler Jupiter. Pisces rules over the 12th House. 12th House themes includes CONFINEMENT. ENDINGS. SOLITUDE. INSTITUTIONS. SELF-UNDOING. TRANSCENDENCE. SECRETS. SUBCONSCIOUS.

The energy of Pisces especially Neptune/Jupiter is infused. Martin Luther King Jr had Pisces moon and Venus. Martin started with his people (black people) and their rights to vote and desegregation. Towards the end of his life he shifted focused to poor people and economics.

It’s important to remember Pisces is ruled also by Jupiter, it’s traditional ruler before Neptune was discovered in. Jupiter’s themes include LUCK. EXPANSION. TRAVEL. BELIEFS. FAITH. HIGHER EDUCATION. WEALTH. ABUNDANCE. GROWTH. RISK. OPPORTUNITY. GENEROSITY.

Pisces/Neptune energy just want to be loved and accepted and feels that everyone should be loved and accepted despite their imperfections and the mistakes that they have made. Imperfect beings where love cures all and there is a desire (or compulsion) to love. This need for love invites and attracts narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths, abusers, and users. OR vice versa creates narcissists, sociopaths, abusers, and users.

Pisces is neutral mutable water energy so there is a duality to them and they can play multiple roles well. By being able to play different roles, Pisces energy can put themselves in others' people shoes which allows them the ability to fight for all kinds of people.

In a series of more recent murders (2011-present) in the hands of police there has been debates on whether or not to march or support victims because of their criminal backgrounds.

Eric Garner, George Floyd, and Stephon Clark all have criminal records, with the latter being charged with crimes where they victimized women/ black women.

Particularly the debate centers around the anti-black women misogynoir some of these victims perpetuated. A lot of black women didn't want protest and to be mules and soldiers for men that didn't even respect them and would probably not have protested for them if the roles were reversed.

These issues became even more glaring especially after the deaths of Breonna Taylor and Black Lives Matter Activist Oluwatoyin Salau. If you don't know Oluwatoyin "Toyin" or "Queen" Salau, was a 19 year old Nigerian-American activist. She went missing and was later found murdered on June 2020 after tweeting that she just been sexually assaulted by a black man who offered to give her ride back to a church she was staying in.

During this time it became clear that people were not going as hard in terms of support for Toyin or Breonna as they were for other male victims of both police brutality and attacks against black women. There was a hypocrisy in attention, support, and media coverage of these black female victims.

On the other end of this debate, some feel that it doesn't matter and that all victims especially of police brutality should be supported. According to them what is wrong, is wrong, no matter if the victim was not a saint. I think this can be Pisces energy in Black Liberation.

Sympathy for the devil, empathy for the mentally ill, love for all is also the mentality of Pisces energy in Black Liberation. Pisces energy loves everyone because their imperfect, are the underdogs/losers, and need help/saving.

Pisces energy in Black Liberation is the mentality that you don't have to be perfect or an angel for people to fight for you or to seek liberation. It does not matter your race, gender, sexuality, class, age, able/disabled, and etc. It does not matter if you made mistakes, were deadass wrong, or have hurt people in the past. For Pisces energy justice, healing, redemption, and liberation is for all.

The Astrology of Pisces in Black Liberation is that your life and the lives of others are worthy of love, protection, and liberation because you are a fellow human being.
