theastrofiend: Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian fist fight: Oppositions... ATTACK!!

theastrofiend: Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian fist fight: Oppositions... ATTACK!!

For some superficial non Rona news, let’s talk about the viral “fist fight” that happened between sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim K. I saw this floating around YouTube and watched it. Honestly I thought it was funny and still do. I don’t like giving attention (aka clout and views to Kardashians) but unfortunately we are stuck with them for the unforeseeable future. What struck me is this is great example of how oppositions act, react and attack.

Kim K has been in the gossip news recently due to her ongoing feud with Taylor Shift (well Swift but really Shift ;). Well Kim inserted herself in 10+ year ongoing beef between her Gemini husssbands Kanye and Sagittarius Taylor Swift (which is perfect of how oppositions work and I have wrong several blog posts about this combination of opposition at work including the epic Shether diss record between Sagittarius Nicki Minaj and Gemini Remy Ma)

Before I talk specifically about Kim and Kourtney let me spill some Kardashian-Jenner tea. Supposedly and allegedly Kris Jenner is a narcissist. Apparently with narcissist parents they often choose a golden child, a scapegoat child, and a forgotten/ignored child. In the family dynamics narcissist parents choose the golden child as an extension of themselves and put all their own dreams, fantasies and goals onto their kids. The narcissist parent uses the scapegoat child as a way to deflect from their shortcomings and as a way to blame them for their own faults. There is also the forgotten child too but none cares about them, so?. The narcissist parent’s love is conditional and it can be taken away if the narcissist parent is displeased or challenged by the child. The narcissist parent pits their children against each other and makes them fight for a spot of their love. The golden child is pressured to succeed and to make their narcissist parent proud and happy.  Check out Narcissist expert Dr. Ramani and gossip expert Shallon Lester for more on this.

It’s clear for everyone to see including Stevie Wonder that Kim is Kris’s favorite child and the golden child. Kim gave and continues to give Kris want she always wanted which was FAME and money. This plays into how the siblings interact with each other.

It’s Aries season and well Kourtney is an Aries so this physical altercation is so fitting for this energy time. Kim is a Libra so off the bat there is tension. Aries and Libra are Cardinal opposite signs. Kourtney is elder sister and Kim is like a year younger so they can honestly be hood twins (born one year apart).

Kourtney has been tired of Keeping up with the Kardashians and reality/fame shit and sees Kim K as annoying, vain, superficial and arrogant.  Kourtney has been their done that and she’s checked out and over it the Kardashian brand.

Kim probably sees Kourtney as an ungrateful, mean, lazy, and selfish. Kim is the main breadwinner for the family, an acute businesswoman, and is clearly very into the fame aspect of her brand.

This is where the other set of oppositions come in. Kourtney has a Venus in Pisces and Kim has a Venus in Virgo. In relationships they act in opposite ways and their sense of values and beauty.

Venus in Virgo is overtly critical, needs things to be perfect and has very high standards. Venus in Pisces has a hard time developing healthy boundaries, can be a push over, highly empathetic, and doesn’t have the high standards and feel the need criticize others. Where Venus in Virgo and Venus in Pisces meet is their tendency to want to help, support people and be willing to martyrs for their causes and other people. Virgo and Pisces also have a weird thing about idealizing people but in opposite ways. Pisces idealization is based off of the fantasy of imperfection and Virgo's idealization is based of reality and the pursuit of perfection.

Kim’s sense of beauty, value, and relationship style is very curated, precise with A LOT OF HARD WORK AND EFFORT while Kourtney takes on a more natural, effortless value, beauty, and relationship style.

Kim’s the Beyonce (Virgo) and Kourtney is the Rihanna (Pisces) of their family. Random but look at the tragic deaths of Pisces/Virgo influenced people, Michael Jackson (Virgo Sun, Pisces Moon). Kurt Cobain (Pisces Sun, Virgo rising with stelliums in Virgo and Pisces).

Kim actually has a Virgo/Pisces opposition within herself with a Pisces Moon and Venus conjunct Jupiter in Virgo. She’s in opposition with her feelings/emotions/habits (moon), her sense of values, beauty, and relationships (Venus). and also in opposition of her need of expansion, higher knowledge, beliefs, and luck (Jupiter).

Kourtney also has a loose very Virgo/Pisces opposition with her Ascendant and Venus in Pisces and her Saturn in Virgo.

As I mention is she is “golden child” and the main breadwinner of the family so she probably has a lot of pressure to keep up the image and carry the family. As a Libra sun Kim probably thinks it’s only fair that her family does the same. At the same time she gave herself that pressure and fails to see that some members of her family doesn’t want or value the same things she does and that she can’t force them to care. Even if it’s for the “family”.

Anyways Kourtney snapped and was tired of hearing Kim Kardashian’s smart ass mouth. If you noticed Kim made a shady and mean comment that caused Kourtney to snap and lash out violently. I have seen many different clips of the arguments she has with Kourtney. Kim is always complaining, commenting about Kourtney’s work ethic and hence looks down on her and criticizes her. Sometimes violence is the answer, not the first answer BUT THE LAST. Kourtney as a Mars in Aries so her hands were the answer in that moment. BTW Kim has Mars in Sagittarius so she was ready to take Kourtney on

Kim had it coming honestly. Kim has a Scorpio mercury so she can be passive aggressive with biting/stinging words. Kim let her mouth write a check that her ass couldn’t cash. Kourtney as an Aries mercury wasn’t here for the BS.

Not sure where Kourtney falls in the family dynamic based on the theory that Kris is a narcissist but Kourtney is clearly one of the more independent minded ones in the family. She doesn’t do what her mom always tells her and clearly isn’t as invested into the family as Kim or Cancer Khloe is.

Kourtney is an Aries Sun with a Capricorn moon so her Sun is squaring her Moon. This can make her appear as a mean cold bitch (and maybe she is). Capricorn moons often hide their vulnerability and use a cold harden exterior to protect themselves. Add Aries Sun, and criticism and attacks on their character and a slam and slap sundae will happen.

Kourtney has a Capricorn moon while Kim has a Pisces Moon. Kim can definitely be sensitive and receptive if she doesn’t allow her Venus conjunct Jupiter in Virgo to take over. Kourtney needs to learn to express and communicate her feelings more. Kourtney and Kim have a Pisces connection in that Kim is Pisces Moon and Kourtney is a Venus in Pisces.

The difference between the two is Pisces moon is emotionally sensitive open, empathetic and prone to be emotionally manipulated and emotionally manipulate others while Venus in Pisces is all those things in relationships with others. They are both capable of empathizing and emotionally sensitivity. Kim needs boundaries with her feelings/emotions and Kourtney needs to establish them in her relationships.

I think Kim as the golden child never developed the ability to allow herself to truly put herself in other’s shoes and Kourtney never developed the ability to be allow herself to be vulnerable and express her true feelings and emotions. This being a recipe for a disaster and probably a main factor in their “fist fight”.

Overall it’s April, and it’s Aries season. A lesson for all of us is to try to mind our business, STAY THE F INSIDE and keep our mouths shut.

By the way to give context to this big ass Ratchet version of the Kennedy family (more like nation at this point); I created a table with the Kardashian-JennerKlan astrology info.

theastrofiend: Aquarius Suns Under Attack? Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres -- Dawning of the Age of Aquarius

theastrofiend: Aquarius Suns Under Attack? Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres

It's interesting that there is a firestorm of people accusing Aquarius Sun Ellen DeGeneres of being mean and cruel. It's interesting because not too long ago everyone was throwing shade and clowning Oprah for tripping over her feet and falling on her ass after talking about "balance." #karma, #kobeandMJgettingonthatazzfrombeyondthegrave.

It's interesting because these are some of the most beloved (catch my pun bitch #RIPAquarianToniMorrison) celebrities. Are Aquarius Suns under attack? Is this a trend?

People also came at Oprah through her special friend Capricorn Sun Gayle King. After Gayle's disaster interview with Women's basketball legend Lisa Leslie. Gayle brought up Kobe Bryant's rape allegations to Cancer Sun Lisa Leslie who was friends with Virgo Sun Kobe Bryant. People accused Gayle King of trying to destroy Kobe Bryant's legacy, being insensitive for reasons of it being too soon and not allowing his family to mourn him, plus the dead can't defend themselves). People accused Gayle of being opportunistic and trying to sensationalize or throw spice into the interview for views and clicks. People also accused Gayle of being a coon and a shill for white supremacy.

Where Aquarius Sun Oprah comes in is guilty by association. Aka who you surround yourself with is a reflection of your character mentality. There was also strong backlash about the documentary Oprah produced about Michael Jackson, Leaving Neverland.

People accuse Okra and Kale (lolZ) of constantly going after black men and black male celebrities (such as Virgo Suns Kobe Bryant, Michael Jackson, etc.) while protecting white male abusers (Pisces Sun Harvey Weinstein) and their problematic behaviors. People see them as more of an enemy towards black men/black male media image and as a symbol of the shady and unsavory nature of Hollywood culture such as the open secret process known as the casting couch.

While Ellen DeGeneres has been roasted on Twitter by some random ass comedian who asked people to share some of their horror stories and experiences with Ellen DeGeneres. The thread included supposed former staff members and people who were around her (like waitress/waitstaff). The gist is that Ellen is fake, cruel, and treats her staff like germ infested underlings that are not good enough to breathe the same air as her. There are stories of Ellen getting people fired, almost fired, and Ellen asking people to not smile, look, or talk to her and sending people home for being "stinky". Other accusations is that Ellen is only "nice" to her celebrity friends and is a cruel bully. Let's not forget the criticism Ellen got when she hanged out with former President Bush at a football game.

Outside of that there has also been rumors for years that Ellen is abusive and controlling over her actress wife, Portia de Rossi. These criticisms are not new (well at least not to me). I heard about Ellen Degenerate (lolz the internet and these shady nicknames) not being so nice.

All this aside getting into astrology, it's interesting to note that both these celebrities are Aquarius Suns. Random but Gayle is a Capricorn Sun with an AQUARIUS MOON.

Aquariuses are some of the most loved Sun Signs of the zodiac. While people love dragging Geminis, Scorpios and Virgos. People LOVE Leos, Aquariuses, and Cancers (honestly interchangeable with Libras, Pisces, and Sagittarius). BUT USA is a Cancer Sun, so bonus points to Cancers. BTW USA also has an Aquarius Moon.

These are the signs that ain't do no wrong even when they do wrong.

Aquariuses are the cool, independent thinking, "down to earth", friendly, unproblematic humanitarian archetypes. People LOVE Jennifer Aniston. People LOVE(d?) Oprah and Ellen. Especially Ellen. I mean Lil B made a song about her.

I think we are in the Age of Aquarius (at the very least it's shadow period and the very very long death of the Age of Pisces), so it makes sense that the world is behaving and reacting more to Aquarian/Uranian/Saturnian energy. We have been so long in Age of Pisces that were are waking up to our own disillusionment and the emotional violence that comes from it. Neptune in Pisces helps with that too.

It's interesting to note that both Ellen and Oprah have Sun conjunct Venus in Aquarius with fire moons. So maybe people have problem with them having an ego. Like they are shocked that these people are not ........ "perfect" ....... "nice" "good" and for "everyman" that they first appeared to be.

Aquarius is opposite to Leo. These are opposite signs but there are similar too. It's just that they use their similarities in opposite ways. What is similar with Leo and Aquariuses are their EGO and how they use their ego. Leo use their ego to draw people to them. Aquarius use their ego to draw people away from them. Personal VS Impersonal/Interpersonal.

To be a celebrity you have to an EGO. It can be a small ego, a decent sized normal ego or a huge EGO. Ego isn't a dirty, bad word, we all have an ego. It's just an Ego can both sustain us and destroy us. I talked a little about this when I dragged Aquarius in my blog post here: Why your Sign Ain't Shit: Aquarius Edition: http://theastrofiend.blogspot.com/2016/02/why-your-sign-aint-shit-aquarius-edition.html

That aside Aquarius is said to be a celebrity sign that are most likely to be famous and enjoy the fame. Aquarius are detached enough to not let the stress of fame get to them, are unique enough to stand out and be comfortable enough to stand out, plus Aquarius has a very group oriented mentality, which makes for the perfect celebrity.

Celebrity is a weird concept and is a weird symbiotic relationship between two strangers that has a swinging pendulum of adoration & idolatry; and obsession & hate. Strangers loving on talented strangers they never met. Strangers (with the help of the media) exalted them, defend them, when they don't know who you are. Strangers want  or expect someone who doesn't know them to be accessible and relate-able when they are not. Celebrities like parents are human (cliche i know).

With social media, us underlings can all have a shot of fame. Celebrities are more accessible but we have more of a voice now. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. I mean Super Leo artist Andy Warhol had a concept that "Everyone will have 15 minutes of fame." Like did he predict the future?

We underlings have been given a voice which one of the water bearer, Age of Aquarius's mission. That aside with are people mad at Oprah and Ellen
- for having an ego?
- being themselves?
- being apart of a corrupt cluster of systems (exploitative Capitalism, celebrity/fame and Hollywood/media culture).

Aquarius as friendly and conscious as they are, are detached, cold, logical to the point of narcissistic psychopathy and can be very dogmatic and prone to groupthink. This honestly mirrors a lot of the behaviors we have as a society.

BTW I am not defending Ellen or Oprah, they can use their beds of money as a blanket and wipe their asses with gold toilet paper for all I care.

Aquarius archetype can be the off grid Mountain dwelling gun toting antisocial nonconformist rebellious conspiracy theorist that is very anti-government/vax,meat/religion in their Uranus form.

Or they can also develop into the sociable respectable media darling brainy conformist tech billionaire guru archetype that is very into social Democracy, Science, Tech, sustainability and prestige in their Saturn form. Aquarius is ruled by both Saturn and Uranus. Aquarius doesn't have to choose between these archetypes (unless they want to) but they can be both and are both.

Just because Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres are well liked, don't cause drama (that we know of) and are not desperate annoying fame whores doesn't mean they are good (or bad) for that matter. Just because someone is rich, famous and powerful doesn't mean that they are automatically virtuous or bad.

By challenging the status quo and the people up top we are channeling the true spirit of the Age of Aquarius.

Honestly this is more of a reflection of us as a society and culture and the need to question our values in relation to fame, rich people and media and we are easily manipulated and won over by these status markers. Celebrities ARE STRANGERS. We may think we know them but we don't. They are not our friends or saviors. They are here to entertain. They are part of a system. We are part of a system.

I write a lot about pop culture and celebrities in relation to their astrology because they are exalted and famous for a reason. We and the way we response to their personalities and their energies is for a reason. We need to learn from them and take lessons from them. It's a perfect astrology case study and great way to learn, observe astrology in the real world and in relation to our own life and experiences. Celebrities, fame and the wealthy are a mirror and case study of our society and where we are at as a culture and nation.

Overall my point in all of this is that the Age of Aquarius is teaching us to detach, think for ourselves, draw our own conclusions, and to stop giving away our power. We are both the individuals in the community and apart of the community and we have to find a way to navigate between the two.

theastrofiend: Coronavirus Multi Transpersonal planet Stellium in Capricorn, Saturn moving into Aquarius Uranus in Taurus Unpredictable, Uncertain and Revolutionary Times

theastrofiend: Coronavirus Multi Transpersonal planet Stellium in Capricorn, Saturn moving into Aquarius Uranus in Taurus Unpredictable, Uncertain and Revolutionary Times

I am not into prediction in astrology. I low key think it's unethical. But I'm also a curious human being who occasionally checks her transits. #hypocritical?

This will not be about prediction. I don't know when Coronavirus is going to end. I don't know if there if it's going to get worst or if there is going to be a recession after. However I like to look at trends and explore ideas and theories.

I just know there is an interesting clusterfuck of astrology planets that could signify a big reloutionary change brought on by the uncertainty and instability of the Coronavirus pandemic.

I'm looking at Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all in a BIG ASS stellium in Capricorn

Uranus in Taurus VERY LOOSELY TRINING the BIG ASS TRANSPERSONAL CARDINAL EARTH PLANET STELLIUM IN CAPRICORN

Mini rant but orbs and the degrees amount between planets does not interest me. Technically in astrology you need a certain number of degrees between the planets to make the different aspects trines, conjunctions, squares, etc. I don't think it matters so much the orbs and how tight it is (the fewer the degrees between both planets the stronger and tighter that energy is).

I think as long as there is a relationship between planets no matter how strong or weak, it still counts. Me saying there is a trine is technically "incorrect" but naturally Capricorn and Taurus are signs that trine each other because they are of the same element (Earth).

Anyways again I'm looking at:

Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all in a BIG ASS stellium in Capricorn

Uranus in Taurus VERY LOOSELY TRINING the BIG ASS TRANSPERSONAL CARDINAL EARTH PLANET STELLIUM IN CAPRICORN

Saturn entering Aquarius in a few days plus the Sun will be entering Aries in a few days.

That aside these energies have been brewing and colmating for some time.

This is a long time in the making with this big ass multiplanet transpersonal cardinal Earth stellium.

Note: Transpersonal planets are planets that take longer time to change signs and effect a generation of people and generations of people. Jupiter takes about 1 year. Saturn 2.5 years. Uranus 7 years, Pluto 10-20 years and Neptune 14 years.

You can also call them interchange interpersonal planets (well no really Jupiter and Saturn) but they are similar in that you usually share the same signs of these people in your same/similar age (Saturn/Jupiter) or astrology generation (Pluto in Scorpio, Pluto in Sagittarius, etc.)

Anyways transpersonal planets move slow this is why I say its a long time coming. It's literally been in the stars

Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign ruled by Saturn (one of the big scary planets in astrology). Capricorn is serious, disciplined, patient and can be seen a cruel. However there is always a lesson to be learned (usually through pain, suffering and the HARD WAY). You come out a traumatized but wiser. Humans never learn so nature is here to teach you aka hard head soft bottom.

This big ass multiplanet transpersonal cardinal Earth Capricorn stellium trining Uranus in Taurus is here to teach us that structural instituational change is coming. Specifically it's teaching us that we must work hard to be self reliant, pragmatic, not wasteful, independent, disciplined and to not take outselves and our fellow people/countrymen for granted.

Mars (action), Jupiter (expansion, luck, knowledge), Saturn (hard work, lessons, time, and Pluto (death, transformation, inner/personal power).

Uranus in Taurus is the game changer and Saturn entering in Aquarius is sobering.

Specifically with the Coronavirus, in terms of my country (can't speak for the other countries) the government and US dropped the ball in terms of containment and prevention. USA has its first infected person in January but waited until 3 weeks ago aka late February to started to do something about it.

Personally I have been monitoring the situation in China since late January thanks to the amazing YouTuber lovelyti. China has been dealing with this virus since late December but the information didn't come out until January. Aka it was a big clusterfuck.

Personally for me I known about it for months but I thought it would be contained (like Ebola, like Swine) and not effect me. I underestimated this and relied on the media and government to make it serious. Naively and ignorantly seeing people dying on the streets of Wuhan China, the Chinese government sealing people into their homes and shipping containers and making makeshift hospitals in DAYS didn't seem like a red flag. I was asleep and I am sure a lot of other people were.

Capricorn can't afford to be asleep, it has to constantly work and not slack off otherwise shit slips through. This is not a punnishment but a lesson. There are no winners or losers, just wisdom

The wisdom being again we must work hard to be self reliant, pragmatic, not wasteful, independent, disciplined and to not take ourselves and our fellow people/countrymen for granted. These are lessons with the big ass multiplanet transpersonal cardinal Earth Capricorn stellium.

Just to throw in Neptune in Pisces comes the naivety of me of us. The media and government has their own agendas their own interests. It's not that we can't or shouldn't trust the government and media. But we need to be discerning and not count on them. Sometimes their interests and agendas don't align with ours. Sometimes we have to make it align with ours.

This is where Uranus, Pluto and Saturn comes in. To keep it simple I will refer to them as the Twisted Sisters. I will also call the big ass multi-planet trans-personal cardinal Earth Capricorn stellium Sir Saturn-alot

Uranus in Taurus with Uranus being the planet of upheaval is opening ours eyes to our personal power (pluto).

Things have to be shaken up, put out of order in order to get order which is Uranus job. Specifically in Taurus a sign ruled by Venus, beauty and abundance. We now must make due with what we have. The old way of capitalistic excess and wastefulness is dying. Yes Taurus is about abundance but Uranus is rebelling against it's own sign and making things precise and better. Aka rebelling against your nature to reach a higher homeostasis.

Look at us Americans fighting over and hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Look as us price gouging  and trying to profit from a deadly pandemic that is killing people worldwide.

As pathetic, frightening and sadly entertaining it is wrong. Yes it's about survival (pluto/mars) but this is not working we got to do better.

With the internet we can't no longer turn a blind eye or claim ignorance.

Like there is a a reason Bernie Sanders is appealing. We want to be empowered, we want things to change.

Uranus in Taurus is teaching us to create material abundance through sustainability (hence why minimalism, tiny homes, skoolies, diva-cups are popular). Let's find new ways to survive, live, thrive without furthering the corporate systematic murder of our planet and the suicide of ourselves.

That aside to loop in Saturn in Capricorn and Aquarius. That's a symbolic passing of the torch. With a few goal of gaining independence.

You first must learn to be self-reliant (Saturn in Capricorn). You must realize you are a part of a system. You must realize the system is wrong and flawed. You first try to find ways to work within the system, then find loopholes and ways to make the system run more efficiently. You must be frustrated, sad and anger over and over again. You  must feel powerless and hopeless. Then you must realize that you have the numbers, you have the power and are the power.

This is where Saturn in Aquarius comes in. Honestly I am one of those astrologists that thinks that a planet is ruled by both the modern and traditional ruler. Of course the modern ruler is the more important/relevant one but the traditional ruler carried the sign in it's womb and raised it so it can be realized as its Modern ruler. I think both Uranus and Saturn rule Aquarius. It has both energies in it. That's way its domicile or dignified in Aquarius.

Capricorn being a cardinal Earth sign got things rolling in Saturn by realizing it's power and becoming self actualize. Now Aquarius being a fixed air sign must dig it's heels in and work hard to rebel and later on acheive its independence.

Saturn in Aquarius is a lot of things with it being very contradictory. Aquarius is a fixed sign but it is also an air sign. Dogmatic and stubborn (fixed) in it's high ideals but also logical and changeable when presented with new information and data (air)

Aquarius is a rebel outsider (Uranus) but at the same time is a social air sign that needs to communicate. Aquarius fights for freedom and independence but knows that it is not possible because we are individuals in a community (Saturn).

To solely rely on your individuality is egotistical and make you a bitter selfish antisocial recluse with sociopathic tendencies. But to give up your individuality is a betrayal of self and humanity. It's honestly a pendulum.

Anyways there are so many angles with Saturn in Aquarius. In this time we must fight for ourselves, our power and others uniqueness and power, embrace our unqiueness and individuality while at the same time be discerning of groups (like the media, the government, the internet, anarchist militias and new age spiritual and religious cults) that want to manipulate you and take away your power. This is time to find your tribe but at same time find yourself.

Saturn in Aquarius will be squaring Uranus in Taurus so there is resistance between radical sustainability (Uranus in Taurus) and the hard work of mastering the dual role of being an individual in a community (Saturn in Aquarius).

Don't worry with Aries sun coming in it will sextile Saturn in Aquarius briefly to help support it's goal.

There is so much more I can say but i will end it here. Sorry if this was hella long and possibly preachy. I just feel so passionately about this. I've also been away for a while. But I'm always here even if I am not here (online physically).

Please everyone be safe during this difficult time.  This too shall pass.

It's 2020. Let's CUT OUT THE NEW YEAR NEW ME NONSENSE!! Happy Spring Equinox

It's 2020. Let's CUT OUT THE NEW YEAR NEW ME NONSENSE!! Happy Spring Equinox

It's 2020. Supposedly it's a new year. Random but the older I get the more I think that it doesn't make any sense for the "new year to start in the dead of Winter. The new year should really start in Spring/ Vernal Equinox or at least whenever the weather is warmer for whatever hemisphere you are on.

This whole New Year New Me mantra, setting your intentions now just seems so forced and arbitrary. You are the still the same person 3 weeks ago. How does a made up day change your life?

I mean I understand it and I am not fighting against it or anything but it feels like we are either being set up for failure or lured by energy of newness,  hope and expectation which can either result in success or failure. This isn't me being a cynic. Imma let go of this thought for a little bit.

2020 is also the start of a new decade. This is weird but I am excited by this rather than the "New Year". As a Plutionian/ 8th house person and more importantly as a human being life is unpredictable and nonlinear. This is why this whole new year new me, intentions setting is so weird and uneasy for me.

This sounds contradictory but I truly  believe everyday is a new day and we are always changing but at the same time I disagree with the New Year New Me Thing

Our lives and experiences are again unpredictable & nonlinear. We may start out the year bad and it ends good and vice versa.

In a year you can experience sickness, death and new life, riches to rags, love, hate, travel, jail, etc. Some people's lives are generally more stable, some people more chaotic. It's just the way it is.

I spoke to someone who's life and experiences are crazy and it seems like this person never can get a break.

You don't need a new year to be new. 2 hours ago I wasn't the same person I am now. Of course we don't notice these changes but we often notice and appreciate it in retrospect aka retrograde.

This is why I am excited about the new decade. I can look back at 10 years with pride, shame, sadness, anger, a sense of improvement/satisfaction and stalement/regression/dissatisfaction all at once. Its an ebb and flow that is spiritually appealing and enlightening.

My culture (western) is not designed for us to be happy or present. This is where the set up comes in. We can't just live. There is a pressure and expectation to be better within a year.

Its not the pressure or urgency that bothers me but the expectation that we need to do it within this year & doing this continually and consistently year after year. Like we can wrap ourselves up into little bows and move easily into a new year.

Life and time doesn't work that way. It's a process, a pendulum, a balancing scale and a whirlpool wave.

I believe in both fate and free will. I am in control of my actions and reactions. I am somewhat in control of my body, mind/thoughts and emotions. Everything else is up in the air. Sometimes I like this, a lot of times I don't. It is what it is.

Regardless I am not complaining it's just thoughts and observations. I am grateful to be alive and get another chance today and right now.

We spend all this time preparing for this and that and looking into the future. At the same time we are not present and living for the now.

New Year. New Decade. Maturing and Evolving Me.

Unconventional Cancers: Nikola Tesla and Frida Kahlo: Part 1 of 2: Nikola Tesla

Unconventional Cancers: Nikola Tesla and Frida Kahlo: Part 1 of 2: Tesla
by theastrofiend

Childless, unmarried, "virgin". Eugenics Supporter. Scientific Genius. Female artist competing with her artist husband. Feminist. Anti-Capitalist. Ambivalent to Motherhood due to Infertility. Multiple Marriages, Affairs, and Divorce. Of course by the title you know that I am talking about Nikola Tesla and Frida Kahlo. Also from the title you know that they are both Cancers. But not just any kind of Cancers, but Unconventional Cancers.

Not all Cancers can have fat drooling bouncy babies or big families or. Some just want to live and be about their work. Regardless in part 1 of my Unconventional Cancers blog, I will be talking about Nikola Tesla. Part 2 is Frida Kahlo.

No one in the astrology community wants to admit this but astrology is very much about stereotyping. Classifying and giving people archetypes to choose from. Since this is very big world with billions of people and trillions upon trillions of possibilities, it's not uncommon to see variants from the mold. Like the fucking creepy smiley titans with heads bigger than their legs running around aimlessly, destroying the wall that protects humanity and eating people as a hobby. #AttackonTitanReference.

Nikola Tesla
He was Tesla before Tesla. Nikola Tesla was born on July 10th 1856, astrotheme linked here :https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Nikola_Tesla.

Tesla had a Cancer stellium with his Cancer Sun conjunct Venus and a Saturn both in Cancer. His Saturn in Cancer conjunct his Mercury in Gemini. He had a Libra Moon conjuncting his Mars in Libra. Tesla had an early Taurus Rising (with his Pluto and Uranus in Taurus in his first house), Jupiter in Aries, and Neptune in Pisces Retrograde in the 12th House.

Uranus and Pluto in the 1st House
Jupiter and Neptune in the 12th House
Mars and Moon in the 6th House
Venus, Mercury and Saturn in the 3rd House

Sun in the 4th House

This is all a lot to unpack.

Random but for some reason he reminds me of the Aquarius Russian mystic Rasputin. Except Tesla is less creepy, angry looking, and more like that quiet older man at a corner table in the library who on the low low can pull more bitches than Elvis in his heyday. Tesla and Rasputin were probably twins or at least cousins in a past life.

That uselessly clever side note aside Nikola Tesla's astrology is interesting. Tesla had no Aquarius placements whatsoever, and mostly minor aspects to Uranus (with the exception of Uranus in his 1st House). I honestly believe that Nikola's genius was from his pure and innate Cancerian psychic abilities, intuition and sensitivities that led and fed his genius. He relied on his studies but most importantly himself. Water signs have a way of knowing and at it's best if water signs are able to cut through the shite, not get weight down by emotions (yes it's possible), and do the damn shite.

His astrology is very interesting to say the least. You would think he would be uber social with enough bitches to fill a fish bowl with that Moon conjunct Mars in Libra and that Taurus rising. But he kept to himself. Or maybe he didn't. Maybe he was communicating with aliens that he found humans incredibly boring and uninspiring. His mercury in Gemini in the third house would pull some shit like that. Plus Neptune is in Pisces RETROGRADE in the 12th House is a VERY psychic position. Adding his Jupiter in Aries in the 12th House his beliefs and ideas were so enterprising/Cardinal, otherworldly, and expansive. So him working with aliens doesn't sound too crazy.

He has an eidetic memory (a close to photographic memory), slept 2 hours a day, chose chastity and science over romantic relationships and sex, was asocial but not socially awkward (he took great consideration of his appearance). A man full of contradictions and multiple conjunctions. Go figure.

Random but he hated Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison (an Aquarius) ripped him off and was a greedy fraud theft and well respected Piece of Shit.  Peep the shade Nikola Tesla threw at Edison in a New York Times article after Thomas Edison's death.

"He had no hobby, cared for no sort of amusement of any kind and lived in utter disregard of the most elementary rules of hygiene ... His method was inefficient in the extreme, for an immense ground had to be covered to get anything at all unless blind chance intervened and, at first, I was almost a sorry witness of his doings, knowing that just a little theory and calculation would have saved him 90 percent of the labor. But he had a veritable contempt for book learning and mathematical knowledge, trusting himself entirely to his inventor's instinct and practical American sense."

Looking at his astrology, he's very Watery but he's also very Earthy with a stellium in Taurus. His outerplanets trifecta Pluto and Uranus are in Taurus, while his Neptune is in Pisces in the 12th House. He is otherEarthly, a being that chooses to use their energy to operate on high vibrations/energy on Earth and in an Earthy way. He chose the sciences so it doesn't get more Earthy and first dimensional than that. But he used his Cancer abilities which complimented his otherEarthly path.

It's important to note that he was also neurotic, asocial, advocated selective breeding/eugenics, did not pursued romantic relationships, and died alone and poor in hotel that someone else paid for. Perhaps this was his Saturn in Cancer which made it difficult though not impossible to form deep bonds without feeling the need to compromise. Saturn in Cancer denotes limitations and restrictions in regards to Cancer-ly, Moon, and 4th House things such as strong family/familial presence, and home/sentimentality.

His MC was in Capricorn which also denotes his lifepath as someone who works hard, struggles harder and who's legacy often flourishes after his death. Even so, I believe though he sometimes regret his choices, with Sun in the 4th House, he was doing something that he loved (inventing, creating things, exploring his mind.). This gave him joy, even if he had to suffer a little for it.

Some may say that he lived a sad, lonely, and unfulfilling life, I won't disagree. Tesla even spoke about the fact that he didn't have a boo thing (aka a wife) in reflective, regretful but overall content way of "such a great sacrifice" he made.

I would say he chose this path. It shows in his natal chart with him having Mars (action, passion) and Moon (habits, emotional urges) in the 6th House. He had a purpose, an emotional soul connection and an unwavering passion (his scientific career) that he purposefully sacrificed greatly for. Not that many people can honestly say they have a purpose in life or say that they found one. He did. He was a Cancer in a Unconventional Cancer way.

Unconventional Cancers: Nikola Tesla and Frida Kahlo: Part 2 of 2: Frida Kahlo

Unconventional Cancers: Nikola Tesla and Frida Kahlo: Part 2 of 2 Kahlo
by theastrofiend

Moving on to someone completely different but overall same sign Unconventional Cancer. Frida Kahlo.

Born to a German-born photographer father and indigenous/Spanish mother. Frida contracted polio at age 6,. It was because of this she was bed-ridden and started school later than her peers. Through this experience she was bullied, and isolated from kids her age. During these months she spent with her dad who taught many different subjects including more about art and photography

During her school years she was sexually abused by a female teacher, that didn't stop her for being a passionate student that excelled in school. She was sent to life defining school that focused and encouraged, indigenismo.

indigenismo, a post Mexican Revolution nationalist/political ideal that encouraged Mexicans to be proud of their indigenous heritage and culture and to get rid of colonialism ideals.

She was also politically and socially active while in school. At this school she was on track to becoming a doctor when she was involved in a terrible bus accident.

This near fatal accident led to her life long physical pain and health ailments and was a defining moment in her life.  Frida stayed in the hospital for a month, bed-ridden for two months and in recovery for 2 years. It was during this time she was forced to consider a new career path and in turn became introspective (a common Cancer trait). She turned to her early passion painting as a way to cope and in turn questioned her identity.  After her recovery she joined the Communist party where she met her future husband, Diego Rivera. A man 20 years her senior, they bonded over art and he was a mentor to her.

Frida lived an interesting life. Marrying a man 20 years older, competing with and posthumously outshining her artist husband in the art work. Affairs with both women and men (her marriage had mutual infidelities on both sides), divorcing her husband and then marrying him again.

Long intro aside all of this is a set up for her astrology and her unconventional Cancer-ness. She had a lot of Cardinal and fixed energy which is attributed to her strength of character, willingness to not give up, and to step forth with confidence.

Frida Kahlo was born July 6th 1907, astrotheme profile linked here: https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Frida_Kahlo. She was a Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon, Leo Ascendant and Mercury, Gemini Venus, and Capricorn Mars.

Venus & Pluto in Gemini, Jupiter, Neptune, and the Sun in Cancer
in the 11th House

Mars and Uranus in Capricorn in the 5th House
Moon in Taurus in the the 10th House
Mercury in Leo in the 12th House
Saturn in Pisces in the 8th House

Venus & Pluto in Gemini. Jupiter, Neptune, and the Sun in Cancer  in the 11th House

Frida Kahlo had a stellium in Cancer in the 11th House. Her Sun (ego/personality), Jupiter (beliefs, luck) and Neptune (creativity, illusions, etc.) were in the 11th House of Friends, Associations and Group Power). Her Venus (love/relationships) and Pluto (transformation/sense of power) in Gemini are also in the 11th House.

Her Gemini (Venus) gave her the flexibility to adjust to her life/situation and to allow the light in. Come on now she had an affair with Communist Soviet leader, Leon Trotsky. She was a proud Communist (Jupiter). Talk about blending her politics with love and friendship. She was sexuality free and fluid. She rubbed elbows with powerful historical people. Her friends helped her get to her own personal power. FYI Diego was a Sagittarius (with a Taurus moon like her).

Frida grew into her much of her power and legacy much after her death. She didn't get popular and well known until after her death. Her persona (Sun) and art/love of art (Venus) and impact aka power (Pluto) is global (Jupiter), timeless, and transcends boundaries (Neptune). Frida Kahlo is a contemporary figure that is both celebrated for her art but also her identity as a mixed woman of color, disabled, queer, feminist artist.

Mars and Uranus in Capricorn in the 5th House

The 5th House is all about romances, creativity/talents and children.

As a lover, Kahlo's 5th House showed unconventional (Uranus), passionate (Mars) romances some short lived, one major and complicated marriage, divorce, and remarriage to (her husband Diego). She loved, she lost, she suffered from it, but could never take her ability to love from her.

As an artist, Kahlo shamelessly and rebelliously (Uranus) took up unconventional space as a woman, Communist, Mexican WOMAN, QUEER artist who was ALSO FRIGGING disabled. This was unusual for her time.

Her Uranus and Mars in Capricorn (Capricorn is not an easy sign) shows delayed success, her infertility, and her physical blockages due to ill health. It's quite ironic she is loved and celebrated much after her death. The Capricorn/Saturnian irony of it all.

Moon in the 10th House

Frida Kahlo needed to explore her emotions and personal inner emotional life in a very public life. Of course this has much to do with her super stellium in the 11th house and her Leo placements but this was a compulsion. She couldn't run or hide from her emotions. Lucky for Frida her Taurus moon (moon is exalted in Taurus) gave her consistency and stability in her powerful emotions. As much pain as she was in, she was not drug addicted and didn't repress or suppress her emotions. She found her outlet, never questioned it, and used it to save her life (prolong it really).

Mercury in Leo in the 12th House

Kahlo's Leo placements, are about self expression and figuring out her identity beyond her disability/constant ill health.

A lot of her artwork were self-portraits (Leo Ascendant and Mercury after all) Her portraits often had themes relating to her illness/body/pain, and motherhood/infertility. Particularly her themes on children and having children. She wanted kids but couldn't have them. As a Cancer this is particularly hard reality; so her art was very real but also surreal (literally) and fantastical.

When she wasn't exploring her pain, she was showcasing her love of her Mexican culture and heritage. Her Leo pride in her origins and her overall Cancerian pride in heritage family. In this case not a literal family but she treated Mexico as her family, as a child she could never birth. This is so Leo and Cancerian at the same it's crazy. Yes she wallowed in her pain but she also had pride in it. Her art was humbled and grandiose at the same time. She wanted to live, fully (or as fully as she can).

Her ascendant is also in Leo which shows the pride and confidence she naturally had. She worn traditional Mexican skirts as a fashion accessory and to hide her disability. Form follows function. She wrote her own story and lived the way she wanted to.

Saturn in Pisces in the 8th House

Saturn in the 8th House is very symbolic. Kahlo's time on Earth definitely played out this symbolic placement. This placement and Kahlo's own experiences denotes a life of long, constant, physical pain/trauma (Saturn) that constantly restricted her and eventually led to her death. She was a suffering artist, physically and emotionally with poor health. She couldn't protect herself from her health problems, she was vulnerable (Pisces) Her life was short with her dying from an infection from her amputation at the age of 47. A part of her probably died a few times through out her life before her literal physical death. The thing is now she is immortal, well her art, which is an essence of who she is.

Even with all this unconventionality, Frida Kahlo and Nikola Tesla  are Cancers. Frida was passionate and emotional about her Mexican indigenous culture and had great pride in it. Her Cancer emotions motivated everything in her world and was a strong force.

While Tesla's Cancerian meekness and sensitivity allowed to  him to devote time to his passion which were the sciences and creativity. His Cancerian intuition guided his inner world to create and water this Earth. Frigging both are boss ass Cardinal ass unconventional Cancers.
