The Astrology of Black Liberation: Aquarius SZN PEAK BLACK LIBERATION SEASON #February is Black History Month!

The Astrology of Black Liberation: Aquarius SZN PEAK BLACK LIBERATION SEASON #February is Black History Month!

It's Aquarius season, there's a multi level bastard conjunction/stellium of planets in Aquarius with Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn ALL IN AQUARIUS is peak Black Liberation Season being that

1. In the USA February is Black History Month, which is mostly Aquarius and then Pisces season towards the end of February.

2nd. To quote my own self When I think Liberation and Social Justice with Astrology I think of specifically zodiac signs Aquarius, Sagittarius and Libra and planets/aspects with Uranus (rebellion, independent), Pluto (personal power), and Mars (forceful, combative, energetic). However every sign has an inner social justice warrior in them.

Aquarius is the humanitarian that hates humans but loves humanity, the water bearer AIR sign ruled by it's modern ruler Uranus and traditional ruler Saturn. A blend of detached and personable, rebellion, structured chaos, individualism, groupthink, communication, and contemplation.

Again this is peak Aquarius energy and season. Aquarius as the 11th out of 12 signs is a mixture of a lot of energies throughout the zodiac. Aquarius is seen as the social justice warrior willing to fight for the underdog, fight for others, and themselves.

To quote myself again: It's hard to ignore and not talk about the social climate in the world now. The anti-police BLM brutality protests have died down but the revolution and quest for Liberation is not dead. The protests didn't just come out of nowhere. When using astrology to analyze issues of racism, white supremacy, and anti-blackness it's often seen from the gaze that these issues are new, happened out of nowhere, simple, and solvable.

However racism, oppression, white supremacy, and anti-blackness is more covert, insidious, strategic, and ever evolving. People want to conflate it as JUST A POLITICAL ISSUE. However Black Rights/ Black Liberation isn't just a political issue it's FIRST and FOREMOST a HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE. Not only this but it is also a  SPIRITUAL ISSUE

We are in a spiritual warfare for centuries with it reaching to a place where a lot of people cannot ignore anymore.

Black Liberation is messy. There isn’t one way for Black Liberation and there are many disagreements over it. This includes

- Whether we should be anti-capitalist aka socialist, and focus on economic issues

- Whether we should we focus on dismantling the patriarchy and focus on gender/womanist issues

- Whether LBGTOA+ should be included

- Whether we need a leader like a Martin Luther King Jr. or Malcom X type figure, etc.

Aquarius encapsulates all these energies and conversations.

Aquarius is neither the leader nor follower, but prefers to do things their way. Aquarius has a strong moral sense, ethics, belief systems, and social responsibility. This can be seen as admirable, strong willed, and inspiring but at the same time intolerant, bias, or bully energy.  Aquarius as a fixed Air sign has no problem choosing a side, sticking to it, and drawing a clear line in the sand.

The fixed part of Aquarius is seen as stubborn and inflexible but the air communicative part is open minded, willing to debate, and hear different opposing perspectives to strengthen their own perspective. Aquarius is not for everyone and doesn't try to be for everyone. This is quite contrary to what astrology loves to push about Aquarius.

Aquarius is the "humanitarian" in the sense as what I said before the I hate humans but I love humanity type of energy and mentality. Humanitarian definition from Google below

- concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare

- a person who seeks to promote human welfare; a philanthropist.

Aquarius wants to see humanity progress by promoting human welfare. But there are many different definitions of human welfare. Human welfare can mean science and technology that can help humanity such as anti climate change/global warming technology or transhumanistic technology to prolong life/quality of life. Aquarius has this detached impersonal perspective on human welfare and humanitarianism. It can quickly border into mad scientist, billionaire philanthropist villain energy because of the rebellious defiant, impersonal intellectualism of the Aquarius energy.

Aquarius is for the people that think, act, and share the same politics, beliefs, ideas, goals, and hobbies as them. Aquarius is also 11th House energy where our group associations and networks, collaboration, collective power and individual fortitude are our foundations that can bring out social progress, social change, and in this case Black Liberation.

Unity for an Aquarius can be different groups advocating fighting for themselves and coming together because of their differences. Aquarius supports the right for everyone to fight for themselves and others like themselves. Aquarius however, does not support the discouragement, and stopping from groups and entities that want to prevent others' from advocating and fighting for themselves and others like them.

Aquarius's overall mentality is: I may disagree with how and the way you want human progress and welfare but as long as you are for humanity and advocate for your own people; you are fine with me.

This is Aquarius's main role in Black Liberation. By fighting for yourself, you encourage others to fight for themselves which allows others to fight for people that are just like them. You can disagree but just don't stand in the way of humanity and human rights.

Anyways stay tune and Happy Black History Month!
