Virgo Celebrity Archetype That Ain’t Shit: Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen is a fucking perfect Virgo example for my Celebrity Archetypes That Ain’t Shit series. I was going to go the Beyoncé route but that’s too boring, plus I got blog posts coming up for her. Other Virgo celebrities I was considering Freddie Mercury (good, but nope), MJ, no, even though he has the Virgo Famous drug addict going for him, or Pink (no). Then I thought Charlie Sheen, yes!!! (A-ha!!!).

I picked Charlie Sheen because I want to show the other forgotten side about Virgo. Virgo is known for being smart, detailed, and perfectionist prudes. But that ain’t the full picture. Charlie Sheen is one of them "Rogue Virgos", like Pink, Karrine Steffans aka Superhead, Prince Harry, and Bobby Brown. Rogue Virgos like any other Rogue signs; don’t follow the rules and code of conduct associated with their sun sign. I mean we are not just our sun signs, but it’s an important part of who we are. Remember the sun is the ego.

Virgo Stellium aka Super Virgo

Charlie Sheen is complex, and one of the most unpredictable, volatile, and messy high profiled Virgos out there. He is such a Virgo and so not a Virgo at the same time. The last sentence seems like a contradiction but hear me out. He is a super Virgo, with a stellium (Sun, Pluto, and Uranus in Virgo) with Uranus and Pluto conjuncting (technically not a real word) his Sun. He is acutely and quintessentially Virgo.

Highly Plutonian: Secretive and Delusional

Though funny. This quote is sad too. It denotes his state of mind.

Even so, he is also highly Plutonian because his Mars and Neptune are in Scorpio, both conjuncting each other and sextiling (again not a real word) all of his Virgo planets. Plus his Sun conjuncts Pluto; which is one of the most powerful Plutonian aspects. His Sun (ego) needs the constant self-destructiveness (Pluto) in order to transform into a higher self (Pluto). In his case, though, he is often walking a fine line between self-destructiveness and transformation. 

Scorpio is a very intense, secretive, and sensitive sign, so in Mars and Neptune its. Mars is quite natural in Scorpio (Mars was Scorpio's old ruler, before Pluto was discovered). Mars in Scorpio makes him very determined and action orient, which is a good thing BUT not when you’re a drug addict. It makes him stubborn, willful, secretive, and overtly emotional. He also probably enjoys in risky taboo sexual behavior. He has Mars sextile Uranus, which adds to his rebellious, unpredictable persona. He enjoys breaking rules and being unpredictable. 

He also has a Mars conjunction Neptune. Delusional, unrealistic, determined but ultimately unfocused actions taken and doesn’t accept responsibility for these actions defines his Mars and Neptune placements.  I wrote most of this before his HIV status, a bit of universe synchronicity here but it very much applies to his Mars. Overall these placements with Mars makes him a risk-taker too, who is delusional, compulsive and extremely reckless sexually.

Very Mutable: Changable emotions and Beliefs

His Moon in Sagittarius. This placement makes someone lucky, generous, happy go lucky and optimistic (sometimes unrealistically optimistic). This placement also is expansive and explosive with sometimes out of control emotions and habits. He literally does not know how or when to stop (the partying, the booze, the women, the drugs). 

He shoots his bow and arrow and does not know or care to know where it will lands. Not only that, but his Moon opposite his Jupiter (in Gemini). This creates seesaw emotions that are flip floppy, very very changeable and not grounded at all.  These people can go from 0 to 60 in half a second and can be a bit bi-polar. This is another dynamic placement.

Entertaining, Sensitive and Stubborn Thinker:

On top of all that, his friggin Mercury is in Leo which makes him funny, original, entertaining (check out his quotes and interviews), but also mentally arrogant and inflexible. This is fixed mercury so he is very stubborn. He actually feels invincible and thinks it is cool what he is doing to himself. He thinks he is hot shit and that he can do drugs perfectly.

His Mercury squaring Neptune does not help at all; it makes him creative and sensitive thinker and speaker but also very delusional. He is good at manipulating himself and others. Plus his Mercury sextile Jupiter which means he doesn’t think it is serious and over estimates the severity of his drug problems. This placement literally expands both his good mercury traits and his bad ones too. He has illusions of grandeur aided by Neptune delusions and expanded by Jupiter.

Charming, Codependent Ladies Man

He has a preference for trashy women.

His Venus is in Libra making him charming,  harmony and pleasure seeking ladies man. He likes to have fun, he likes to flirt, he likes to be in love and entertain people. Even so, he probably is very vain, people pleasing, and overtly relationship oriented (read: needy). He has volatile relationships with women specifically his ex-wives. Plus it is interesting to note that he called his porn-star live in "girlfriends" goddesses (Libra is ruled by Venus, a goddess, the astrology synchronicity here is amazing). 

He is a hopeless romantic at heart and a bit overtly idealistic (read unrealistic) in relationships. This is a good Venus placement, but used negatively can make a person codependent, passive, and approval seeking. Which could be the case with Charlie especially with Venus sextiling his mercury and Jupiter makes him continue to do things that are not good for him. He doesn't get that most of the time the media and people are laughing at him not with him. I think part of the reason he continue to do these "bad" things, because these actions are positively reinforced (aka never-ending media punchline, scandals and drama good for his high-profiled career)  and this all somehow makes him popular and liked. This in turn probably makes him think his behaviour is acceptable and right.

Other Quick Sheen Astrology Tidbits

Mutable Grand T-Square

He has a Mutable T-Square between Moon (Sagittarius)-Jupiter (Gemini) and Sun/Uranus/Pluto (Virgo). A t-square are 2 planets in opposition making a square to a 3rd planet), forming concentrated energy that needs to be rectified. This translates to tension within himself.

Gemini Ascendant?

I haven't focused too much on his “Gemini ascendant” because though I love astrotheme.com they have proven not to be reliable when it comes to popular modern celebrity rising signs. Right now as of 12-2-15 his Ascendant is in Gemini. 

Even though I would say this rising sign does fits with the different themes in his chart. A mutable Gemini ascendant will make his Midheaven Aquarius which signifies that his career is all about risks, rebelliousness and an image to maintain, as a Hollywood bad boy.

His Saturn and Chiron placements

Saturn is opposite Sun which means he is literally swinging between feeling weakness, out of control and feeling responsible and powerful. Saturn is also opposite Uranus and Pluto, which in turn makes him alternate between rebelliousness and responsibility; and self-destruction and transformation. 

Chiron is the key to your pain. Only you can unlock it.

Also he has his Chiron in Pisces. Chiron is the wounded healer in astrology. Its where we can use our suffering to heal others but not ourselves. This placement is very karmic. It is conjunct Saturn (also in Pisces) it could mean daddy issues. Pisces is sensitive and very susceptible to bad influences if not enlightened.

Though I like Charlie Sheen, this guy is seriously fucked up. I honestly think his Virgo placements make him believe he is a "functional" drug addict. This goes to back to my central theme: Virgo. Virgos want to help everyone else but don’t admit when they need help. They know they need help, it isn't a pride or ego thing. Even so, there ego is based on helping others. All of this while putting their heads down, rolling up their sleeves and working hard. If he can slow down, admit he is not perfect, and allows himself to accept help; he will be much better. He is not hopeless and he is very capable of self-improvement (the road would be hard). As fucked up as this sounds maybe his very public HIV status can be his wake up call. Oh and also not engaging in risky unprotected sex and smoking crack cocaine. That helps, LIKE A LOT.

This should be his motto and mantra.
